2 Days Jinja Adventure Tour

Wakeup at  6:00am for breakfast organise yourself for your 2 days trip to Jinja, at around 8:00am you will transfer to Ssezibwa Falls are found in Mukono district, about 37kms along Kampala Jinja highway found on Ssezibwa River which flows from the wetlands between Lake Victoria and Lake Kyoga west of Victoria Nile in BUYIKWE DISTRICT, they are seven metres high and emerge from the rocky grounds forming panorama a long with a number of tropical birds which makes it ideal for bird watchers, butterfly watching as well as relaxation.

Historical background;
Ssezibwa Falls are believed to be “born” by a woman in the names of Nakangu of Ekibe(wolf) clan who gave birth to twin river which split into two distant streams one called Ssezibwa and Mobeya who still inhabit this river.
It also acts as a cultural site where many people go for blessings for wealth and prosperity, marriage stability and general fortunes in their daily social lives.

Mabira Forest Adventure 12:00 pm

After Ssezibwa you transfer to Mabira forest reserve, passing through hectares of meta Sugar plantation fields reaching the  Headquarters in afternoon check in at Griffin Lodges for Lunch and afternoon relaxation later in the evening you go for Ziplining done in the middle of the forest, fast before you start the tour the guide will take you through the simple history of the forest, activities, accommodation available as well as the benefits to the community and country through the ministry of tourism  at large, from  here go for ZIPLINNING activity in the middle of this forest we do as instructed by your tour guide before carrying out this spectacular activity, the Ziplines takes you soaring on top of the forest canopy for those who are not afraid of heights, you will then proceed to the trail that takes you to Griffin falls for spectacular views, you  are advised to put on hiking shoes/gumboots and the dress code long outfits because the trails are associated with shrubs and slippery grounds that don’t favour the rest of the dress codes.

DAY TWO:The Source of The Nile

wakeup  at  around 6:00am o’clock 0rganise yourselves for breakfast that will be waiting already on your table after head to for Mangobey Monkey trekking they are a bout 8 groups habituated in the forest you will also come a cross other species like the Red tailed Monkeys, Vervet monkeys with other wildlife including butterflies and wide range of birdlife after you will head out of the forest to jinja for lunch break later continue to the SOURCE OF THE NILE which was discovered by John Speke on August 3rd,1858  for the boat cruise but before will fast have a lecture for 5minutes as we get the historical background of the place during, the boat cruise ranges from 1hour Trip to 3hours Trip depending on which one that suites your adventure on the Nile waters, as you  head to the point where the fast missionary Nicknamed it the source of the Nile a lot of wildlife is seen along the River Banks like Nile Crocodiles, Nile Lizards plus a lot of water birds

Caution

To those who will wish to go for aboat cruise or rafting, before one enters the boat for the boat cruise one should fast get a lifejacket, the small boats  takes between 10 to 15 people as other hang around the staff canteen as well as taking photographs at the most extra Ordinary points on the Nile, one can always checkout other establishments (restaurants) around including the curio shops that sell art and craft, After all your intentions have been fulfilled you then embark on your journey back to Kampala.
